When does a win not equate with success?

I’d like to piggyback on Mr. Shawn Mangru’s rather thought-provoking letter in the Guyana Chronicle, “President must fulfill pre-election promises,” (September 12).

AFC Leaders should see themselves as servants, not ego-driven leaders

I recall writing an earlier piece for the Guyana Gazette where I stated that people who desire to become leaders first understand that leadership is all about serving. Unless the spirit of servant hood indwells such a person, his/her desire to lead could later prove self-serving and disastrous.
